Gentlemen, I ask you: What would you do if a blond zombie grabbed your family jewels shouting “FRESH MEAT”? Not sure how to respond? Check out the Cycle Sluts in “Chopper Chicks in Zombietown” if you are worried. These “dykes on bikes” (HEY! That is NOT MY QUOTE!) will show you how to handle a zombie attack whether you’re an abused midget or a blind orphan!
The Cycle Sluts are a group of liberated misfits from all walks of life. One girl left behind a cheating husband. Another was abused. One girl was tired of being stereotyped after she was crowned Homecoming Queen. Most of them are just lesbians with a grudge looking to kick some ass! They ride their motorcycles from town to town looking for action as well as new recruits. But this time they came to the wrong town…
Zombietown! A town full of mourners unaware of their fate. The local mortician has taken his obsession with death a wee bit too far. He forces a lonely midget to kill off all the townsfolk so he can bring them back to life and put them to work in the mine. And now he has his sights set on the Sluts.
A Troma Team release from the late eighties, Chopper Chicks stars Jamie Rose, Catherine Carlen, Lycia Naff, a number of unknowns, Billy Bob Thorton (pre-french fried taters) and a small cameo appearance by MTV’s Martha Quinn. It was written and directed by Dan Hoskins.
If you are looking for great feats in acting or a film that is spiritually uplifting and promises to change your life for the better, you will not find it here. If you are looking to be entertained without having to use both halves of your brain, look no further! “Chopper Chicks in Zombietown” is a fun and kooky film that will make you laugh and it will make you gag. My only major complaint was the music. The zombie warning sounds leave much to be desired. But if you like B movies, this flick is for you! Call up the fine folks at Whitehorse Press and order a copy because it is a hard video to find.
